High School Diploma

Your high school diploma is within your reach!
Adults over 18 years of age and out of high school can earn their diploma through our program.  We offer in class support with a credentialed teacher and an online program so adults can work where they want, when they want. 
How do I start?
Contact our office at (925) 463-0616 or to obtain our registration form.  New students will need to submit an official copy of their high school transcript for evaluation and take a simple intake exam.
What is the cost?
It is free to earn your diploma through our program!
How long will it take?
It depends on how many credits you need to earn and how much time you're willing to commit to your classes.  A typical 5 unit class takes 40-60 hours of focused time on the part of the student.
How many credits (or units) are needed to earn the diploma?
210 credits are required.  The chart below lists the course requirements.

A minimum of 10 credits must be earned within our program to earn a PUSD Adult High School Diploma.

Pleasanton Adult and Career Education offers eligible students the opportunity to receive an Adult High School Diploma. In accordance with Education Code Section 51241, adult education students are exempt from the physical education requirement. The total units necessary for receiving an Adult Education High School Diploma is 210 (230 minus 20 units of Physical Education).
